The terms for using the Jordan Create app.

The agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and Golden Frame Marketing Company LLC, Amman, Jordan ("Jordan Create", "we", "us"). They apply to the Jordan Create guest app on iOS, Android and the web, to guest cards at guest.jordancreate.com, and to jordancreate.com. By creating an account or using the app you accept them. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your information and forms part of this agreement.

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian agrees to these terms on your behalf.

Your account

• You sign in with a code sent to your email. Keep that mailbox secure: anyone who can read it can sign in as you.
• One account per person. Do not create an account for someone else or share your sign-in codes.
• Give accurate details, including your name and date of birth. If your ticket is under a different name or email, contact the welcome team so we can match it.
• You can sign out or delete your account at any time from Menu, Settings.

Tickets and admission

Tickets are sold by our ticketing partner under its terms, or issued by our team. The app displays your ticket and QR code so you can enter the venue. It does not sell, refund or transfer tickets.

Admission is subject to the venue's rules and our event guidelines. We may refuse or revoke entry for conduct that puts guests, staff, speakers or the venue at risk. A screenshot, a copied QR code or an account that is not yours will not be accepted.

Workshop seats are limited and booked first come, first served. A booking is a reservation, not a guarantee: we may change the programme, the room or the schedule.

Your profile and content

You keep ownership of everything you add to your profile: your name, photo, bio and links. You give Jordan Create a worldwide, royalty-free licence to store and display that content in the app, on your guest card and on your Apple Wallet pass for as long as your account exists. You also agree that we may keep event photos and recap material that show you as a guest.

You confirm that you have the right to use your profile photo, and that your content:

• does not impersonate another person, brand or Jordan Create,
• is not unlawful, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, violent, threatening or defamatory,
• does not infringe anyone's copyright, trademark or privacy,
• is not advertising or spam.

Zero tolerance for abuse, and how to report it

Jordan Create has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behaviour, in the app and at the event. That includes harassment, threats, hate, sexual content, impersonation and unwanted contact.

• To report a profile, open the guest's card, tap the ⋯ button at the top, then Report this profile. Choose a reason and add any details. You will get an email confirming we received it, and a member of our team will contact you to follow up.
• You can also email marhaba@jordancreate.com, or speak to any member of the Jordan Create team at the event.
• Our team reviews every report. When content or behaviour breaks these terms, we remove the content, and we may suspend or delete the account and refuse entry to the event.
• To block a guest, open their card, tap ⋯, then Block, or tick Also block when you report them. Neither of you will see the other's card or appear in the other's network, and they are not told. Unblock them any time in Menu, Settings, Safety & security.
• You can also remove anyone from your network at any time. They are not told.

When we act on a report, we tell the person affected why, unless the law or someone's safety prevents it.

Guest cards and your network

Your guest card is visible to other signed-in guests, for example when they scan it or open its link. Only share what you are comfortable with. When you save another guest's card, you may use their details to follow up on your conversation. You may not collect cards in bulk, scrape guest profiles, add guests to mailing lists without their consent, or use their details for unsolicited marketing.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• access the app or its services with bots, scripts or other automated means, or try to get around its security or rate limits,
• reverse engineer, decompile or copy the app, except where the law allows it,
• interfere with the app, its servers, other guests' accounts or the event's systems,
• misuse the reporting tool, for example by filing false reports,
• use the app for anything unlawful or unrelated to attending a Jordan Create edition.

Notifications and messages

Push notifications for event updates stay off until you turn them on, and you can turn them off at any time in Menu, Settings. We use them for event information, not advertising. We may still send essential messages about your account, your ticket, a report you made, the venue or safety by email, SMS or WhatsApp. The app may install updates automatically to keep it working.

Our content

The app, the website, the Jordan Create name and logo, the programme, photography, film and design are owned by Jordan Create or its licensors. We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app to take part in the event. Speaker and partner names and logos belong to their owners.

Availability, changes and liability

We work to keep the app available during each edition, but it is provided as is. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. The programme, speakers, venue layout and times shown in the app may change. We may update, change or retire the app or any feature at any time.

To the fullest extent the law allows, Jordan Create is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost data or lost opportunity arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Ending the agreement

You can end this agreement at any time by deleting your account in Menu, Settings. We may suspend or close your account if you break these terms, if the law requires it, or when we retire the app. Terms that by their nature should continue, such as those about our content and liability, continue after the agreement ends.

Additional terms for the iOS app

If you downloaded the app from the Apple App Store, the following also applies. This agreement is between you and Jordan Create only, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content. Your licence to the app is a non-transferable licence to use it on Apple-branded products that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the App Store Terms of Service, except that other accounts associated with you through Family Sharing or volume purchasing may also access and use it.

Jordan Create, not Apple, is responsible for maintenance and support, for any product warranty, for addressing your claims or any third party's claims relating to the app (including product liability claims, claims that the app fails to conform to any legal or regulatory requirement, and claims under consumer protection, privacy or similar laws), and for the investigation, defence, settlement and discharge of any third-party claim that the app or your use of it infringes that third party's intellectual property rights. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the app.

You confirm that you are not located in a country that is subject to a U.S. Government embargo or that has been designated by the U.S. Government as a terrorist-supporting country, and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. You must comply with applicable third-party terms, such as your mobile carrier's, when using the app. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this agreement, and once you accept it, Apple has the right to enforce it against you as a third-party beneficiary.

Additional terms for the Android app

If you downloaded the app from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply to the download. Google is not a party to this agreement and is not responsible for the app.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. Disputes go to the courts of Amman, without affecting any mandatory consumer protection you have in the country where you live. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. We may update these terms: we will post the new version here with a new effective date and, for material changes, tell you in the app.
