Privacy policy
How Jordan Create handles your information.
What the Jordan Create guest app and website collect, why, who can see it, who we share it with, and how to delete your account.
Effective 11 October 2026
In short
- You sign in with a code sent to your email. We use your email to sign you in, find your ticket and reach you about the event.
- Sign-up asks for your name, date of birth, gender and country. Everything else on your profile is optional.
- Other signed-in guests can see your guest card. Your email, phone number, date of birth, gender and ticket are never on it.
- Your data is stored with Supabase in Frankfurt, Germany. We do not sell it, show ads, or put analytics or tracking tools in the app.
- You can delete your account in the app at any time: Menu, Settings, Delete account.
Who we are
Jordan Create is operated by Golden Frame Marketing Company LLC, registered in Amman, Jordan ("Jordan Create", "we", "us"). We are the data controller for the information described in this policy.
This policy covers the Jordan Create guest app for iOS and Android, the web version of the app and guest cards at guest.jordancreate.com, our WhatsApp line, and the website at jordancreate.com. Questions and requests go to marhaba@jordancreate.com.
What we collect
Account and sign-in. Your email address. Each time you sign in we email you a six-digit code. Guest accounts have no password.
Details you give at sign-up. Your name, date of birth, gender and country are required. We use your date of birth to confirm you are at least 16. We use date of birth, gender and country to produce anonymous, combined audience statistics for each edition, such as age ranges, the gender split and the countries guests come from. Your country also appears as "Based in" on your Apple Wallet pass. You can change these details in your profile.
Optional profile. A profile photo, your role or title, a short bio, the interests you pick, and links to your social media accounts. You decide what to add and can change or remove it at any time.
Ticket. Tickets are sold by our ticketing partner or issued by our team, for example for speakers, partners and press. We receive the ticket holder's name, the buyer's name, email address and phone number, the ticket type and reference, and a QR code. We use the email address or phone number on the ticket to link it to your account, show it in the app and check you in at the door.
Added by our team. On event days the team records whether you have arrived. We may also note VIP access, which earlier editions you attended, and your city if you gave it when registering.
Your network. When you save another guest's card, we record whose card it is and when you saved it. Only you can see your network. The other guest is not told.
Workshops. The workshop seats you book or release.
Reports. If you report a profile, we keep the reason you chose, any details you write, the profile you reported and your email address, so the team can follow up.
Blocks. If you block a guest, we record who you blocked, their name at the time and when. Only you can see your list. The guest you block is not told.
Messages to us. If you message our WhatsApp line or email us, we keep the conversation so we can help you. WhatsApp conversations may be linked to your guest profile.
Notifications. If you turn on event updates, we store your device's push notification token and whether it is an iPhone or an Android phone.
Kept only on your phone. Session reminders you set, your notification choice, and copies of your profile, ticket and network so the app works without a connection. Your sign-in session is stored in the phone's secure Keychain or Keystore, or in your browser on the web version. These stay on your phone and are not sent to us.
Photos. The app asks for access to your photos only when you choose a profile photo, and uploads only the photo you pick.
Website. Tickets are sold on our ticketing partner's website, not on jordancreate.com. Speaker application, contact and partnership forms on jordancreate.com are hosted by Tally and collect what each form asks for. Films on the site are played by YouTube, which loads only when you press play. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, for security. The website uses Google Analytics and Vercel Web Analytics to understand how visitors use it, such as which pages are viewed and which links are clicked. Google Analytics sets analytics cookies; the website uses no advertising cookies.
What we do not collect. The app does not use your camera or microphone. You scan guest cards with your phone's own camera app. It does not read your contacts or track your location. It does not collect your advertising identifier or other device identifiers, and it includes no advertising, analytics or tracking tools. We do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
How we use it
- To sign you in and keep your ticket and pass linked to your account.
- To show the programme, speakers, workshops, your ticket and announcements for the edition you are attending, and to check you in at the door.
- To let you build a guest card, share it with other guests, and save the cards of guests you meet.
- To suggest sessions and acts that match the interests you pick.
- To send event updates by push notification, only if you turn them on. We use them for event information, not advertising.
- To send sign-in codes, report confirmations and essential messages about your ticket or the event.
- To produce anonymous, combined audience statistics for planning each edition and for partners and sponsors.
- To review reports, keep guests safe, prevent abuse, and meet our legal and accounting obligations.
Where the law asks for a legal basis, we rely on performing our agreement with you (sign-in, your ticket, the programme, your guest card), your consent (notifications, your photo and other optional profile details), and our legitimate interests in running a safe, well-planned event (age checks, audience statistics, reports, security and logs).
Who can see your profile
Your guest card shows your name, photo, role, bio, interests, social links, and the earlier editions you attended. Other signed-in Jordan Create guests can see it, for example when they scan your QR code or open your card link. People who are not signed in cannot, and search engines do not index guest cards.
Your email, phone number, date of birth, gender, country and ticket details are never shown on your card. Your profile photo is stored at a web address that is not published anywhere, but anyone who has that address can open the image.
If you add your pass to Apple Wallet, the pass holds your name, photo, role, bio, interests, social links, the country you are based in, your guest number and your card link. The pass stays on your phone and cannot be shared from Wallet. If you have not set up a card link yet, the QR code on your card and pass contains a contact card with your name and the email address and phone number from your ticket.
The Jordan Create team can see all the information in this policy in our admin panel. Access is limited to the people who run guest services and the event.
If you block a guest, neither of you can see the other's card or appear in the other's network. You can unblock them in Menu, Settings, Safety & security.
Anything you remove from your profile disappears from your card straight away.
Where your data lives
Your data is stored in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany) and our team works from Jordan. Some of the providers above, including Vercel, Expo, Apple, Google and Meta, operate in the United States. When data moves between countries, we rely on each provider's contractual safeguards, including standard contractual clauses for guests in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom.
How long we keep it
- Account and profile: until you delete your account.
- Your network, blocks, workshop bookings, push notification tokens and WhatsApp conversations linked to your profile: deleted with your account.
- Tickets: up to 24 months after the edition, for attendance records and accounting, then deleted or anonymised. Deleting your account unlinks your ticket from your profile but does not cancel it.
- Reports: up to 24 months after the report is closed, as a safety record. If you delete your account, your email address is removed from reports you made. A report about you keeps the name and card link it was made about.
- Records of changes our team makes to guest profiles: up to 24 months.
- Sign-in and server logs: up to 90 days.
- Website form responses: up to 24 months after the edition they relate to.
- Data kept only on your phone: removed when you delete your account in the app or delete the app.
Security
All traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted with TLS. The database uses row-level security, so the app can only read and change what the signed-in guest is allowed to. Administrative keys never ship inside the app, and only the team's admin panel can use them. On iPhone and Android your session is stored in the phone's secure Keychain or Keystore.
No system is perfectly secure. If we learn of a breach that affects your data, we will tell you and the relevant authority as the law requires.
Your choices and rights
- See and edit your profile, interests and social links in the app at any time. Optional details can be removed. Required details can be changed but not left blank.
- Turn event updates on or off in Menu, Settings. You can also turn off notifications for Jordan Create in your phone's settings.
- Delete your account in the app: Menu, Settings, Delete account. See below.
- Ask us for a copy of your data, or ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or withdraw your consent, by emailing marhaba@jordancreate.com. We answer within 30 days.
- Complain to a data protection authority. In Jordan this is the Personal Data Protection Council under the Personal Data Protection Law No. 24 of 2023. Guests in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom may also contact their local authority.
Deleting your account
In the app, open Menu, then Settings, then Delete account, and confirm both steps. This removes:
- your profile, photo (including earlier versions), interests and social links,
- your network, and your card from other guests' networks,
- the guests you blocked, and any blocks other guests placed on you,
- your workshop bookings, push notification tokens and WhatsApp conversations linked to your profile,
- your reminders and the other data the app kept on your phone,
- your sign-in account, so your email is no longer linked to a guest pass.
Your ticket is not cancelled. It is unlinked from your profile and kept for the edition's records as described above. If you sign in again later with the same email, you start with a new, empty profile and your ticket links to it again.
If you cannot use the app, email marhaba@jordancreate.com from the address you signed in with and ask us to delete your account. We will confirm by reply and complete the deletion within 30 days.
Age
Jordan Create is an event for creators, marketers and industry professionals. You must be at least 16 to use the app, and the app checks your date of birth when you sign up. Guests under 18 need a parent or guardian's permission. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe someone under 16 has an account, email marhaba@jordancreate.com and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We will post any changes on this page and update the effective date. If a change affects how we use your information, we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect.
